March Exhibit:  Tuesday Hadden

Due to COVID 19 and all the precautions lined out by the CDC, we are
cancelling the reception for Tuesday Hadden’s exhibit scheduled for March
22nd.  It won’t be the same as seeing it in person, but here are photos of her
work. We look forward to keeping up with Tuesday’s brilliant career!

Artist and Her Work

Tuesday Hadden

Tuesday Hadden is a graduating senior in the School for Creative and Performing Arts program at Lafayette High School. In this season of navigating college applications, preparing portfolios and making big choices, Tuesday has put together a body of work to display as part of the Harstad Fine Arts Series.
This collection of artworks is remarkable, not only for the broad range of materials that Tuesday so capably employs, but also for her imaginative and thoughtful messages. A vibrant curiosity is evident. Take advantage of this opportunity to view Ms. Hadden’s work before it comes down on March 22, following the reception at 12:00 pm.

Self-portrait from the artist book created by Tuesday Hadden in the summer of 2018 when she attended SVA’s illustration Pre-College program in NYC, with the help of a HFAS scholarship.
From Grandmother Earth, a series of five fiber pieces that each represent one environmental disaster that can be directly linked to global warming. Tuesday Hadden used fabric to ‘draw attention to the massive impact humans have on the environment and the consequences of global warming.’
