The Harstad Fine Arts Series featured artist for January and February 2021 is the late Jim McCormick. Jim taught art at Georgetown College from 1960 until his retirement in 1998.
You will see in this exhibit, that Jim loved the experimental expression of abstract painting. In addition to creating art, Jim McCormick’s curiosity led him to explore archeology and Neolithic culture and travel. This curiosity and a love of nature also informed his paintings.
